Spice Girls tribute band coming to Kamloops this fall

KAMLOOPS — It was 1996 when the hit song Wannabe was released by the English pop girl group Spice Girls and this fall you can relive those memories in Kamloops.

A Toronto-based cover band, Wannabe: A Spice Girls Tribute, will be performing at Cactus Jack's Nightclub on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The group is made up of five women with British accents, platform shoes and big personalities resembling the girl-power group from the 90s, according to the band's website.

The group has performed in various cities all over Canada and the U.S.

Tickets are available online for $15 on the Kam Tix website here.
