Actor and Elvis Presley fan John Stamos flips the switch on holiday lights at Graceland

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sporting Elvis Presley-like sideburns, actor John Stamos helped flip the switch on the colorful display of holiday lights adorning Graceland, Presley’s home-turned-museum in Memphis.

Stamos joined hundreds of fans who came to Graceland on Friday night to watch yellow, red and blue lights illuminate the large front yard of Presley’s former home.

Stamos is best known for roles on TV shows such as “General Hospital,” ”Full House” and “ER.” He said after the ceremony that he shaved a beard he had been wearing but kept the sideburns for his appearance at Graceland.

Stamos has close ties to Graceland: His voice is featured on the iPad tour of the home.
