TORONTO – The Toronto Raptors’ rout of Milwaukee, it seems, was the team’s largest margin of victory after all.
The NBA has corrected a scoring error in the Raptors’ blowout of the Bucks on Friday night, changing the score to 124-82.
The scoring correction means the Raptors tied their record for largest margin of victory — 42 points in a 96-54 win over Miami on March 19, 2008.
The NBA said in a release that Bucks forward John Henson was incorrectly credited with a three-point field goal when he made a jump shot in the lane with 1:44 remaining in the fourth quarter.
The victory at the Canada Centre improved the Raptors’ Eastern-Conference leading record to 10-2 and capped a seven-game homestand that saw them go 6-1.
