Breathe it in: Air quality statement dropped for Central and North Okanagan
PENTICTON – Okanagan residents north of the Eagle Bluff wildfire will be able to breathe easier this afternoon as Environment Canada has rescinded air quality advisories for the central and north Okanagan.
A special air quality statement remains in place for the South Okanagan, however as wildfire smoke continues to impact locations in the area.
The special air quality statement ended for the Central and North Okanagan regions around 11:35 a.m. this morning.
The next update is scheduled for tomorrow, Aug. 13.
