Kelowna RCMP seek help finding wanted man

KELOWNA – Kelowna RCMP is appealing to the public for help finding a 30-year-old man with outstanding warrants for his arrest.

According to a Kelowna RCMP media release, 30-year-old Joseph Wojtczak is wanted province-wide for being unlawfully at large.

On Aug. 14 shortly after 6 p.m. the RCMP say they came into contact with an individual they believe to be Wojtczak in the area of East Kelowna Road and Reid Road.

"Added resources were deployed to the East Kelowna area after that individual fled from our police officers on foot," Kelowna RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in the release.

Wojtczak is described as a Caucasian male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with short black hair, green eyes and tattoos on both forearms.
