In addition to B.C. Lottery Corporation's crosswalk, Kamloops city council recently approved a plan for a proposed rainbow crosswalk to be installed at the intersection of Second Avenue and Seymour Street. This crosswalk would be the first rainbow crosswalk to be installed on public property. Other locations of crosswalks are in privately-owned areas such as the airport, Thompson Rivers University and the Lansdowne shopping centre.
