Toronto man charged after alleged road rage incident, man clings to car hood

TORONTO – Ontario Provincial Police say a Toronto man is facing charges after an alleged road rage incident involving another man seen clinging to the hood of the vehicle.

Police say the incident happened Wednesday morning on a highway in northern Toronto.

Video of the footage caught on a dashcam shows a man on the hood of the vehicle while it is travelling at highway speed.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says on Twitter that a 42-year-old man from Toronto’s Scarborough area has been charged with dangerous driving and assault with a weapon.

Note to readers: This is a corrected story. A previous version erroneously said the man charged is 32.
