Vernon firefighters battle house fire

VERNON – Vernon Fire Rescue Service is responding to a fire on Commonage Place in Vernon.

The fire department confirmed the blaze but said currently no other information was available.

Posts to social media show a house fire with smoke and flames coming from the roof.
