Man at centre of Manitoba naked judge case was a sex performer: lawyer

WINNIPEG – There are more tawdry sex accusations in the case of a Manitoba judge whose nude photos appeared on the Internet.

A lawyer for Justice Lori Douglas says the man who complained about being shocked by the photos has his own online sex history.

In a sworn affidavit, Sarah Whitmore says the complainant, Alex Chapman, had pornographic pictures on his computer and had signed up to be an online sex performer.

The affidavit is the latest document to be filed in a Canadian Judicial Council inquiry into Douglas, which has been suspended over accusations that the inquiry has been unfair.

It was launched after Chapman complained that he had been shown explicit photos of the judge by her husband, and had been asked to have sex with her.

The judge has said she had no idea that her husband was sharing the photos and she is fighting to keep her job as associate chief justice of the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench.
