Correction: Egypt filmmaker story

WASHINGTON – In several stories about Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, who was identified as the key figure behind a film that sparked deadly protests in Libya and Egypt, The Associated Press incorrectly reported that Nakoula pleaded no contest in 2010 to a federal bank fraud charge in California. He actually pleaded guilty in the case.
