Clarification: Missouri Execution story
BONNE TERRE, Mo. – In a story Dec. 10, The Associated Press reported that Missouri’s 10th execution of 2014 matches the state’s previous high of nine in 1999. The story should have said the state’s 10th execution of 2014 exceeded its previous high for any year of 9, which was set in 1999.
