Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE). Oil and gas. Down 19 cents, or 19 per cent, to 81 cents on 10.1 million shares.

Veresen Inc. (TSX:VSN). Oil and gas. Down 81 cents, or 5.09 per cent, to $15.10 on 9.3 million shares.

Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY). Bank. Down $1.30, or 1.63 per cent, to $78.61 on 9.2 million shares.

TELUS Corp. (TSX:T). Communication services. Down 98 cents, or 2.39 per cent, to $40.07 on 8.8 million shares.

Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX:CVE). Oil and gas. Down $1.44, or 6.39 per cent, to $21.10 on 6.7 million shares.

Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM). Oil and gas. Down 44 cents, or 9.15 per cent, to $4.37 on 6.46 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Laurentian Bank of Canada (TSX:LB). Bank. Down $2.67, or 5.31 per cent, to $47.60 on 162,989 shares. The stock fell despite an improvement in fourth-quarter earnings and a four per cent increase in Laurentian’s dividend to 54 cents per share. The bank reported net income in the most recent three-month period was $33.8 million or $1.09 per diluted share, up from $25.9 million or 82 cents per share in the same 2013 period. Adjusted net income increased to $42.6 million or $1.39 per share from $38.5 million or $1.26 per a share last year.
