
Penticton RCMP investigating man’s sudden death
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are investigating a sudden death in the city yesterday.
RCMP responded to a call about the sudden death of a man in his 50s yesterday, Aug. 28, at around 10 p.m.
Police spokesperson Const. James Grandy said in a press release the man was found inside a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Government Street, where he was confirmed deceased by emergency personnel.
“The investigation is in its early stages as investigators work to confirm the man’s cause of death. We have not made a determination about any criminality at this time,” Grandy says.
The investigation includes members of the general investigative section, the forensic identification section and B.C. Coroners Service.
