South Okanagan authorities hope someone recognizes truck involved in illegal dumping
PENTICTON – The B.C. Conservation Officer Service is hoping the public can assist them in finding the owner of a truck involved in illegal dumping northeast of Penticton earlier this week.
Conservation officer Mike Stern is looking for information regarding a truck believed to be involved in an illegal dump of construction waste on Greyback Mountain Road on Tuesday afternoon, Aug 27.
The truck would have had to have driven past the Campbell Mountain landfill on the way to where the load was eventually dumped, Stern says.
Anyone with information on the truck or its owner is asked to contact the B.C. Conservation Officer Service at 1-877-952-7277.
