Rollover west of Kamloops claims life of Savona man

KAMLOOPS – A man in his 20s from Savona was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday.

Kamloops RCMP responded to the crash on Savona Acess Road yesterday, Sept. 8, at around 2 a.m., according to an RCMP news release.

Police say the vehicle veered off the road and rolled several times. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and there were no other occupants in the vehicle.

“The cause of the crash is unknown at this time as there were no witnesses. RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a release.
