Most actively traded companies on the TSX

TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (14,640.04, down 23.88 points):

Ivernia Inc. (TSX:IVW). Miner. Up two cents, or 50 per cent, to six cents on 6.6 million shares.

Southern Pacific Resource Corp. (TSX:STP). Oil and gas. Down 0.5 cents, or 50 per cent, to 0.5 cents on 6.4 million shares.

Mega Uranium Ltd. (TSX:MGA). Miner. Unchanged at 11.5 cents on 5.4 million shares.

Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. (TSX:SUO). Oil and gas. Down 1.5 cents, or 15 per cent, to 8.5 cents on 5.1 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up one cent, or 0.54 per cent, to $1.85 on 4.3 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace. Up four cents, or 0.99 per cent, to $4.08 on 4.2 million shares. The company has signed a deal to sell 24 CRJ900 NextGen regional jets to an unidentified buyer. Based on the list price, the firm order is worth about US$1.14 billion.

Canadian National Railway (TSX:CNR). Transportation. Down 34 cents, or 0.42 per cent, to $80.28 on 683,390 shares. Several cars loaded with stone in a freight owned by the company have derailed in west-central Alberta. RCMP say the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday just north of Niton Junction, about 160 kilometres west of Edmonton.
