Moose smashes into B.C. school board office

Most who have issues with their local school board will call to express their concerns, or maybe just post them on social media.

A moose, that appeared to be fed up with the educational system, broke into the School District 60 district office in Fort St. John yesterday, Sept. 11.

The female moose was polite enough to enter through the front door, although it appears she smashed it through.

According to a tweet shared by a school board official, once inside the moose had a wander around the office and left through the learning services area. During her wander, the moose went into the board room, but it’s unclear what she wished to discuss.

Replies to the tweet noted RCMP and B.C. Conservation Officers attended the scene and confirmed the moose was unharmed.

No staff were injured during the visit from the moose.
