DENVER – Prosecutors say the suspect in a deadly Colorado theatre attack threatened a professor at his former university before one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history.
In court documents released Friday, prosecutors say the threat is why the University of Colorado revoked James Holmes’ access to campus.
The name of a person Holmes threatened has been blacked out in the documents.
Prosecutors say the professor reported the threats to the university, and Holmes was denied access to campus.
Holmes faces 152 charges in the July 20 shooting that killed 12 people and injured 5.
