Patriots QB Tom Brady sets record with 46 passing TDs in post-season, beating Montana

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Tom Brady’s third touchdown pass against the Baltimore Ravens gives him an NFL post-season record 46 in his career.

Joe Montana threw for 45 TDs in his career. Brady tied him with a 5-yard score to Rob Gronkowski in the third quarter. Then the New England Patriots QB broke the mark with a 23-yard, go-ahead score to Brandon LaFell in the fourth.

Brady also connected with Danny Amendola for a 15-yard score in the first half.

Brady’s 46 TD passes have come in 27 post-season games. Montana hit the mark in 23 games for San Francisco and Kansas City.
