Rockfall forces closure of trail in Zion National Park

ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah – National Park Service officials say a popular trail at Zion National Park in southern Utah will be closed until the weekend.

Park officials say a rockfall over the weekend on Angels Landing trail has forced a closure of through Friday.

Officials say it will take some time to clear rocks.

The rockfall happened on a stretch of Angels Landing trail where there are chains attached to the rocks for hikers to hang onto.
