UPDATE: Search for missing Okanagan man reaches unfortunate end

KELOWNA – The  search for a missing 53-year-old downtown Kelowna resident reached a sad end Oct. 14 when his body was found in the 1300 block of Water Street. 

Stephen James O’Shaughnessy was reported missing when he did not show up for a scheduled appointment, which was unusual for him.

Foul play is not suspected and his family has been notified.

Anyone with information is asked to contact their local police, or the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880 or  anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving their tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
