LEDUC, Alta. – Steve Cash stopped all 13 shots he faced as the United States topped Canada 2-0 in their last preliminary-round game at the World Sledge Hockey Challenge on Wednesday.
Nikko Landeros scored both goals for the U.S. (3-0-0), one at 13:48 of the first period and the other at 8:51 of the third.
Declan Farmer picked up his tournament-leading sixth and seventh points with two assists.
Corbin Watson made 19 saves for Canada (2-1-0).
The semifinals will take place on Thursday with the bronze- and gold-medal games scheduled for Saturday.
