LADYSMITH, B.C. – Mounties have identified a woman slain last week in Ladysmith, B.C.

Officers say 55-year-old Rayna Johnson was involved in a fight at a modular home park that involved several people and died at the scene.

Fifty-year-old Trevor Meers was arrested after a 911 caller reported the fight at around midnight on Feb. 3.

He is now facing a manslaughter charge in her death and remains in custody until a scheduled court appearance on Wednesday.
