Police seek graffiti tagger after more than 100 incidents at B.C. ski resort

KAMLOOPS, B.C. – Mounties are looking for a graffiti tagger who is marking up Sun Peaks Mountain resort in Vernon, B.C.

Kamloops Rural RCMP Staff Sgt. Doug Aird says the suspect has been spray painting signs, posts and electrical boxes throughout the area.

Dumpsters and private property have also been tagged, with more than 100 incidents of vandalism reported, starting Feb. 1 and continuing until Thursday.

Aird says the detachment has contacted the Vancouver Graffiti Task Force and learned that the same person was tagging in that city, with one act of vandalism on Jan. 9 and several reports of damage in May 2014.

Mounties have also enlisted the help of the graffiti task force in Kamloops.

The suspected tagger uses the handle Glitch or Glitter. (Kamloops This Week)
