Air Canada says its U.K.-based staff have ratified their new contract

MONTREAL – Air Canada says the union representing its 200 concierge service, cargo and clerical staff based in the United Kingdom have ratified their new contract.

The collective agreement reached with Unite last month runs until the end of 2019.

The new contract follows a deal reached by Air Canada and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters representing the airline’s U.S. workers earlier this month.

Air Canada also reached a new 10-year collective agreement with its pilots last year.
