Vernon RCMP seek owner of lost ring

After several months of sitting in a local business lost and found box, a ring has been handed over to the Vernon RCMP in the hope of it being reunited with its owner.

According to a Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release, the ring — which appears to be a woman's wedding band — was given to police by a local business after it had sat in their lost and found for several months.

The RCMP release says the ring is currently at the Vernon RCMP detachment waiting for its owner to come forward and claim it.

Ben Bulmer

After a decade of globetrotting, U.K. native Ben Bulmer ended up settling in Canada in 2009. Calling Vancouver home he headed back to school and studied journalism at Langara College. From there he headed to Ottawa before winding up in a small anglophone village in Quebec, where he worked for three years at a feisty English language newspaper. Ben is always on the hunt for a good story, an interesting tale and to dig up what really matters to the community.
