National parks left without winter services due to federal budget cuts

OTTAWA – A list of national parks that have lost winter services due to funding cuts at Parks Canada:

Elk Island National Park (Alberta)

Forillon National Park (Quebec) — local volunteers clearing trails.

Fundy National Park (New Brunswick) — local volunteers clearing trails.

Kejimkujik National Park (Nova Scotia)

Point Pelee National Park (Ontario)

Prince Albert National Park (Saskatchewan) — local volunteers clearing trails.

Prince Edward Island National Park (P.E.I.)

Riding Mountain National Park (Manitoba) — local volunteers clearing trails.

Yoho National Park (British Columbia) — local businesspeople clearing trails.
