Heat say Chris Bosh will miss remainder of the season with blood clots on lung

MIAMI – All-Star forward Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat will miss at least the remainder of the season because of blood clots on one of his lungs.

The team said he is receiving care guided by Heat physicans at a South Florida hospital and resting comfortably.

Bosh sought treatment on Thursday after not feeling well for several days. He averaged 21.1 points and 7 rebounds this season, his first in a five-year, $118 million contract with the Heat.
