Raptors’ Kyle Lowry ready to return to starting lineup vs Hornets after missing last 3 games
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey says guard Kyle Lowry will play against the Charlotte Hornets after missing the last three games because of nagging injuries and fatigue.
Casey said before Friday night’s game that Lowry has no restrictions and will play “until he gets tired.”
Lowry is averaging 18 points and seven assists and has been shooting 41.4 per cent from the field this season. However, his production dropped off after the All-Star break, shooting less than 30 per cent.
Casey isn’t sure how much Lowry will play.
“Some players it takes a couple of games to get their sea legs back,” Casey said before the game. “Kyle has been working. It’s not like he’s not been doing anything.”
The Raptors went 1-2 without Lowry. They’ve lost six of their last seven games.
