B.C. man faces charges of dangerous driving, mischief and assault: police
KAMLOOPS, B.C. – Police in Kamloops, B.C., are recommending charges against a driver accused of fighting with a motorist at a red light before colliding with another vehicle and sending two people to hospital.
RCMP Cpl. Cheryl Bush says police arrested a 43-year-old man who allegedly fled the scene after flipping his SUV.
The suspect, who was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries, is facing charges of dangerous driving, assault and mischief.
Patric Dupuis says he was on his way home from work when he saw the driver of an SUV rear-end a car before crashing into a blue Cavalier and then running away.
Dupuis says he called for the man to stay at the accident scene but the driver took off, saying his insurance papers were in the vehicle.
Police are asking any other witnesses to contact them. (Kamloops This Week)
