Three people found dead in Quebec house fire

LA CORNE, Qc – Quebec provincial police say the bodies of three people have been recovered from the rubble after a house fire in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region.

Two of the dead are minors and the other is a man.

They have not been formally identified.

The blaze broke out early Thursday morning in the home in the community of La Corne, about halfway between Val-d’Or and Amos in northwestern Quebec.

The house was destroyed in the fire.

Police have not yet determined what caused the blaze.
