Montreal goalie Carey Price unwinds during tight NHL game by taking selfie with young fan

UNIONDALE, N.Y. – How does Montreal goaltender Carey Price find time to relax during a game? By taking a selfie, of course.

During a TV timeout late in the third period of a game against the New York Islanders, Price skated over to the boards where a young fan in a Canadiens jersey and cap was waiting with a smartphone. Price obliged when he raised his mask and leaned in for the snapshot.

Price, a favourite for the Vezina Trophy that goes to the top goalie and the Hart Trophy as league MVP, was backstopping the Habs to a 2-0 lead at the time, a game they won 3-1.

Montreal is tied for the NHL lead in points with 93.
