
Lake Country RCMP on lookout for liquor store shoplifter
Lake Country RCMP are asking the public to help identify a man who is suspected of stealing liquor from a local business.
The incident happened just before 6:50 p.m. on Oct. 4 at a store in the 10000 block of Highway 97 in Lake Country, according to an RCMP media release. RCMP do identify the store.
Police say the suspect stuffed a bottle of liquor into his pants and walked out without making any attempt to pay.
RCMP describe the suspect as a Caucasian man in his late 30’s with dirty blonde hair. He was wearing a dark grey jacket with a yellow hooded sweatshirt underneath.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
