KELOWNA – The Okanagan Rockets are pleased to announce that forward Tanner Wishnowski has signed a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement with the Kelowna Rockets.
The 6’0, 175 pounds forward plays a physical two-way game for the Okanagan Rockets. Wishnowski has posted 7 goals and 13 assists for 17 points in just 18 games. He’s also racked up 40 penalty minutes this season.
“Tanner will have a great opportunity to make a difference at the Western Hockey League level,” said Okanagan Rockets General Manager David Michaud. “I think Tanner’s brand of hockey is a terrific fit for the WHL and we are proud to see him sign with a first class organization like the Kelowna Rockets. Tanner will access to some of the best coaches in the game and that will only help in his development and long term goals.”
