Two suspects flee early morning car crash in Kamloops

A driver lost control of their vehicle early this morning in Kamloops, hitting a parked car and a retaining wall before bumping into a house on Battle Street West.

RCMP say officers were called to the single vehicle crash at approximately 12:35 a.m. today, Nov. 4, in the 400 block of Battle Street West.

According to an RCMP media release, a Honda Accord lost control, hitting a parked vehicle and retaining wall before coming to rest against a home. No residents inside the home were injured, and the house itself sustained only minor damage.

The two occupants of the vehicle were seen fleeing the scene on foot. A short time after the accident, the owner of the vehicle reported it stolen.

No suspects are in custody as police continue to investigate.
