
Midweek snow flurries followed by showers in the Okanagan
The first two days of the week are about as good as it is going to get on the weather front in the Okanagan this week.
Cooler temperatures around midweek bring a possibility of snow flurries on Wednesday before temperatures rebound to around seasonal norms under cloudy skies and the threat of rain for the remainder of the week.
Environment Canada says to expect a mix of sun and cloud today, Nov. 4, with a high of around 12 C and a low of 1 C overnight.
Tomorrow is expected to be mainly sunny and windy with a high of 10 C and an overnight low of -2 C.
Wednesday’s high is only expected to reach 3 C under a mix of sun and cloud. It will be windy too, along with a 30 per cent chance of flurries. The overnight low is expected to dip to -2 C.
Thursday should see cloudy skies with a 60 per cent threat of rain showers and a high of 5 C.
Periods of rain are expected to continue overnight and into Friday with an overnight low Thursday of 3 C and a Friday high of 6 C.
There is a 60 per cent chance of showers predicted overnight Friday, extending into Saturday, with an overnight low of 4 C on Friday and a high of 8 C on Saturday.
The clouds are expected to continue into Sunday, with a 30 per cent threat of showers and a high of 8 C.
Normal temperatures for this time of year in the Okanagan are highs of 6 C and lows of -1 C.
