KAMLOOPS – As work and school weeks wind down for the holidays, buildings are lined in fancy lights, warm greetings are shared among strangers, and it's Christmas this and Christmas that for those on the outside.
But would it surprise you that there's Christmas spirit on the other side of the razor wire fence at the Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre?
While they are serving time, the provincial inmates aren't necessarily the naughtiest on Santa's list. (There's always those federal guys…)
We spoke with B.C. Corrections and community organizations to find out what's happening at the prison during the holidays. Here are eight things we learned:
