Elderly man struck and killed while walking dog identified
KAMLOOPS – A pedestrian who died when struck by a vehicle on Dallas Drive Dec. 12 has been identified.
He was John Kopp, 86, from Kamloops.
Kopp was walking his dog east on Dallas Drive when he was hit from behind by a pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kopp's family has been notified of his death.
The B.C. Coroners Service continues their investigation.
