High Valley with Eli Young Band making a tour stop in Okanagan

A headline tour of Warner Music Nashville recording artists High Valley will include a stop at Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre.

The Canadian tour will stop at the events centre on Saturday, May 16. Brad and Curtis Rempel will be joined by the multi-platinum Eli Young Band and special guests Lindsay Eli and Jade Eagleson.

High Valley recently released their new single Your Mama. The Alberta born duo have received praise from Rolling Stone, Pandora, Spotify, CMT and others for their soaring harmonies and memorable songs. Their first two singles Make You Mine and She’s With Me have been certified gold in the U.S. and platinum in Canada.

The duo continues to make waves as a breakout act in country music.

The Eli Young Band has recently released their new single Break It In coming off their fourth number one hit Love Ain’t. from their latest album This is Eli Young Band: Greatest Hits.

Calgary native Lindsay Ell is lauded as one of the most exciting and talented young artists in country music.

Jade Eagleson has a voice that takes listeners back to days of Johnny Cash, George Jones and Randy Travis. The 25-year-old’s voice is unmistakably country. Eagleson recently released his debut self-titled EP.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m.

I have been looking for news in the South Okanagan - SImilkameen for 20 years, having turned a part time lifelong interest into a full time profession. After five years publishing a local newsletter, several years working as a correspondent / stringer for several local newspapers and seven years as editor of a Similkameen weekly newspaper, I joined iNFOnews.ca in 2014. My goal in the news industry has always been to deliver accurate and interesting articles about local people and places. My interest in the profession is life long - from my earliest memories of grade school, I have enjoyed writing.
As an airborne geophysical surveyor I travelled extensively around the globe, conducting helicopter borne mineral surveys.
I also spent several years at an Okanagan Falls based lumber mill, producing glued-wood laminated products.
As a member of the Kaleden community, I have been involved in the Kaleden Volunteer Fire Department for 22 years, and also serve as a trustee on the Kaleden Irrigation District board.
I am currently married to my wife Judy, of 26 years. We are empty-nesters who enjoy living in Kaleden with our Welsh Terrier, Angus, and cat, Tibbs.
Our two daughters, Meagan and Hayley, reside in Richmond and Victoria, respectively.
