
Lake Country property taxes projected to jump more than four per cent in 2020
District of Lake Country council will review its provisional budget next Tuesday, Dec. 10, with staff calling for a 4.32 per cent increase.
That includes 1.82 per cent is to cover the cost of five new RCMP officers approved last summer.
The average homeowner, whose house is assessed at $695,000, will pay $90 more per month.
Council can change what goes into the budget next week but more changes can also be made prior to its final adoption next spring.
