VERNON – Police are looking for more information about a hit and run that left a 69-year-old man unconscious on the side of the road.
RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk said the accident happened Thursday, Jan. 8 just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Husband Road and Kalamalka Lake Road in Coldstream.

Police are appealing to the driver of the SUV involved in this accident to contact the investing officers and provide details of what happened.
The driver is described as a Caucasian woman, with brown hair tied back, wearing a dark jacket and capri pants about, 5’2 to 5’4” tall.

This can’t be to hard a case to conclude, given video. Vernon RCMP are so slow getting results. Still no charges yet on the impaired woman who killed the nurse on main street/ Hyw 97. No name released, nothing? And2 months later?

This is ridiculous, there are more and more hit and runs happening. there needs to be more effort into finding these people and much harsher penalties for leaving the scene. My daughter’s boyfriend was a victim of a hit and run last Easter. No, driver was ever found. He is still doing rehab and from his injuries.
