RCMP say Alberta man missing since May may be in B.C.

The RCMP is requesting the public's help in locating an Alberta man, missing since May, who investigators believe may have travelled to B.C.

Robert Allen Wetsch was last seen in Hinton, Alta, May 19, and police say new information from the public has given them reason to believe the 40-year-old may have travelled to B.C.

On Nov. 30, following tips from the public, Hinton RCMP completed a  search of a rural area outside Hinton, according to an RCMP media release.

Wetsch is described as a Caucasian male, 6' in height, weighing 170 Ibs., with brown hair and hazel eyes.

In June, RCMP said he might be driving a black 1985 Chevrolet K-10 pickup truck with Alberta licence plate BSZ 3774.
