An Armstrong woman, currently living in a trailer with her husband and daughter, has won a multi-million dollar home.

Ally Hanscom won the HGTV Canada’s Home to Win: for the Holidays competition.

"I'm feeling so overwhelmed with gratitude," Hanscom says in a video posted on the company's website.

The TV show, now in its fourth season, gives contestants a chance to compete for a home recently renovated by experts. Hanscom's new property is located near Toronto.

The 31-year-old is currently living in a trailer with her husband and young daughter in Armstrong.

"The thought of owning our own home, it's so far into the future for us," she says in one episode of the show.

"I'm tired of living in that state," an emotional Hanscom says to the camera.

"We could not be more grateful. Our hearts could not be more full." Hanscom wrote on her Facebook page. "We will spend the remainder of our lives working towards giving back the kindness that was shared with us through this experience. Our gratitude will never cease."
