Crash on Trans-Canada west of Kamloops

Police are on the scene of a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Kamloops this morning.

According to a witness, at least one person was trapped in a vehicle following the accident this morning, Jan. 6, on Highway 1 about 15 kilometres west of Kamloops.

Troy Eli says a vehicle went over the embankment.

DriveBC says the Trans-Canada has single lane alternating traffic while crews recover a vehicle at Cherry Creek Station Road.

Kamloops Rural RCMP said members are on the scene of a crash but couldn’t yet provide much information about the incident.
