Someone who bought a Lotto Max ticket in the Greater Toronto Area won the biggest prize in Canadian history.
B.C. Lotteries Corporation said the $70 million winning ticket was won in Ontario. Six $1-million dollar prizes were also won in Tuesday's draw.
One Penticton and one Merritt ticket buyer will be $500 richer today, also.
Lotto Max draws happen twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The next Lotto Max jackpot is an estimated $33 million.
The winning numbers are 03, 08, 12, 14, 17, 18 & 29 Bonus 11.
