
Revelstoke Mountain Resort records third highest snowfall in North America
Revelstoke Mountain Resort recorded the third highest snowfall of all North American ski resorts.
A recent report from SnowBrains, a publication that tracks snowfall at ski resorts, listed the resort in third place, with 591 centimetres that have fallen. Alyeska Resort, Alaska is currently in first with 597 cm followed by Snowbird, Utah, with 594 cm.
To compare with the Okanagan, Silver Star Mountain Resort outside of Vernon has a base of 375 cm. Big White Ski Resort in the Central Okanagan has 248 cm, and Apex Mountain, outside of Penticton, has a base of 151 cm.
