North Okanagan man previously jailed for child pornography facing more charges

A North Okanagan man who was previously sentenced to two months behind bars for possessing child pornography is again facing charges related to child pornography.

Jeffrey Howard Goldenthal, born 1967, was charged in November 2019 with one count of possessing child pornography and one count of transmitting, making available, distributing, importing or exporting child pornography. The alleged offences are alleged to have occurred between April 2 and May 23, 2019.

Goldenthal is set to stand trial on these charges Aug. 4. The trial is set to last four days.

Goldenthal has previously pled guilty and was convicted in 2015 for one charge of possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to 60 days of jail time followed by probation for the offence that took place in 2014.
