Headliners announced for Kelowna’s Rock the Lake

 This summer’s three-day rock festival outside Prospera Place in Kelowna has announced its headliners.

Simple Plan, The Sheepdogs, Sam Roberts Band and Down with Webster will take the Rock the Lake stage in the arena’s parking lot.

“This year’s festival will build on the momentum of past successes, bringing a fresh and younger lineup of Canadian rock bands to Kelowna,” Marlon Weidlich with GSL Group, the company that operates Prospera Place, said in a media release issued today, March 11.

Montreal-based punk rockers Simple Plan are known for their hits like “Perfect” and “Welcome to My Life”.

The Sheepdogs are from Saskatoon will bring their classic rock sound to the festival with hits like “I Don’t Know” and “Feeling Good”.

Expect non-stop rock and roll from the Sam Roberts Band with hits like “Brother Down” to “Afterlife”.

Toronto’s Down With Webster genre-blending sound features tracks like “Your Man” and “Whoa Is Me”.

Rock the Lake goes from July 11 to 13. Three-day festival passes are now on sale for $169 plus fees here.
