Okanagan’s winter wonderland skating loop getting loads of attention

If you’re looking for inspiration to get outside this picturesque tour through Apex Resort’s skating loop may just be the trick.

The one-kilometre loop, was featured this weekend on Destination B.C. this weekend and from the thousands of views and shares it's gathered so far, it's clearly resonating with people.  

According to Apex’s website, the loop is “maintained to a sparkle, smooth shined by the Apex Zamboni.”

“The experience at night is nothing short of magic, as the lights come on and the winter landscape unfolds around you,” Apex staff said in the writeup.

“Take the experience one step further and arrange for a Food & Fire bonfire to complete this perfect experience for the whole family. The Skating Loop is also a great place to host a group event, birthday or family celebrations.”

You can bring your own skates or rent them at the Apex Rental Shop.

• Cost: Daily Skate ticket is $4 +GST or Purchase Skate Ticket + Rentals for $11 +GST
