RCMP catch all three suspects in downtown Penticton shooting
Two out of three suspects had initially evaded police after a shooting in downtown Penticton earlier this month, but all three have now been caught.
Penticton RCMP were called to the 200-block of Maple Street after reports that a shooting had taken place at 6:18 p.m. on March 6, according to a press release from police.
Police arrested one suspect right after the shooting, but two other suspects remained at large and were identified later.
Several days later the investigation led police to a home on Government Street and officers along with the Southeast District Emergency Response Team executed a warrant and arrested one of the suspects at 5:50 p.m. on March 12.
At the same time as the raid on Government Street Penticton RCMP arrested the third and final suspect.
Everyone police believe are responsible for the shooting have been identified and charges are pending.
Anyone with information on any crimes, has been asked to call the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
